Joining Samwoh Group of Companies in 1997, Mr. Eric Soh has taken on various senior positions in the organization. He was later appointed to the Board of Samwoh Corporation Pte. Ltd. in 2000. He also sits on the boards of a number of Samwoh’s subsidiaries and associated companies.
In addition to his board duties, Mr Soh was elected as Chief Executive Officer in 2013. He is responsible for formulating and driving strategic business plans as well as partnership and expansion of the Group in today’s challenging construction landscape.
With more than 20 years of diverse and in-depth experience in the construction sector, Mr. Soh continues to lead and develop the Group’s competencies and strengthen the brand equity of Samwoh.
Above all, Mr Soh is a fervent advocate of a work-life balance healthy workforce that enhances the overall productivity of an organization and promotes a strong sense of corporate responsibility to our environment and society.
Dr. Ho Nyok Yong joined Samwoh Group of Companies as Technical Director in 2005 and has over 25 years of diversified experience in the construction sector. He holds a doctorate degree in civil engineering from the University of Dundee in Scotland. He is a registered Professional Engineer of Singapore and Malaysia as well as a Chartered Structural Engineer of UK.
Dr Ho was appointed as Chief Operating Officer cum Group Technical Director in 2013. He has been instrumental in mapping the Group’s sustainable blueprint and roadmap. He has spearheaded many practical research works on the development of green technologies and products for the Group. These exemplary green initiatives have propelled the company to clinch many top distinguished green awards and certifications.
Dr Ho is also a well-respected figure in the built environment sector. He was the recipient of the inaugural BCA-SGBC Green Innovator of the Year Award in 2011. He was appointed as the President of Singapore Contractors Association Ltd for two terms from 2011 to 2015, Industry Ambassador for Building & Construction Authority (BCA) from 2012 to 2016, and the President of Singapore Green Building Council (SGBC) from 2019 to 2021.
Madam Pang was appointed as Chief Financial Officer in 2016 after on board of Samwoh Group of Companies for 24 years. A Director of the Group since 1994, she has extensive knowledge on the Group’s financial and administrative matters. She also heads the departments in information technology and human resource of the Group.
A graduate from the United States Air Force Academy in Aeronautical Engineering and served as a pilot in the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) for over two decades, Mr Pang commanded immense respect as a decisive leader who led and oversaw many major peacetime contingency and counter-terrorism operations.
Joining Samwoh Group of Companies as a Senior Manager in 2013, Mr Pang helms different projects across Singapore, rotating through sea sand, asphalt and corporate business divisions.
Using his extensive knowledge and experience in overseas projects, Mr Pang directed and expanded the Group’s operations into Myanmar and South Korea with the appointment as a Director for these ventures in 2017 and 2018 respectively.
Mr Pang was also instrumental in the Group’s land acquisition for the development of Samwoh Smart Hub, the site of the first Positive Energy Building in Singapore, and is continuing to explore other related business opportunities.
